Update Jan 2026: The room is renovated and clean. The staff is friendly and responsive. I was very happy with the stay and extended another night.

It's a great quick stop off of 85 and 221 nothing really fancy but easy on your wallet. And the front desk was very accommodating. Really really nice people.
Been staying here for the past months and its been good for the most part. I do have a few minor issues here and there but overall they've treated us well. Make sure to create a RediRewards Account on Red Roof website to earn your points towards a free night, pretty decent discounts etc. plus right now you'll earn double points on each stay until the promo is over. Isn't as bad as some people say, despite the history here its much better nowadays than it used to be.
Great experience! I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Spartanburg for the money. Pay by the week and it's reasonably priced. Staff is always very helpful.
Friendly staff except for the chubbier guy that usually works 2nd or 3rd shift, he has a nasty.disposition, woke up one day and this staff member was standing pretty much over us watching us sleep when we woke up there he was!! Oh I forgot the maintenance guy with the bald head is very very rude disrespectful craes a lot and curses while he taking out trash not beey good for children to hear this man cursing and screaming like he does, should not be working in a hospitality position. Now, other than those two everyone else is very nice and helpful and makes you feel at home. Rooms were.clesn just had a few problems with things not working correctly like sink was leaking so we had fo move to another room when the heat came on it almost caught on fire due to something in the wires popped so we were moved again. The rates keel going up more and more as the weeks go by when we were told that our rate would only be a certain amount and a note was supposedly put.in the computer to keep the rate as such but wasn't honored.. overall we like staying here for the most part.
Staff is well mannered tempered very helpful and of service at all times. The rooms are nice and spacious and look nice clean sheets pillowcases and all. Overall I'm loving my stay here!!!
Very Nice and understanding staff.. Thank you for always working with us when we need it... you have no idea how much stress that saves us... We really appreciate yall working with us and treating us with respect like we should be treated ... very hard to find that these days..
